“And just which half should that be?”

I’m white. I’m male. I’m a landowner. Bring on the voter suppression. My feelings are more important.

That’s what the Founding Fathers wanted, and everyone knows they could predict the future, so the idea of letting the riff-raff (like women! Can you imagine?) vote is anti-American.

You forgot the guy with the button that said, “I redistricted my state to negate thousands of people’s votes.”Here is Illinois, Boss Madigan(under investigation by the U.S. attorney’s office) redistricted our state to “give” us more liberal Democrats. In my district, the 17th, we had a congressman. We liked our congressman(by eleven percentage points). But we couldn’t keep our congressman. Madigan and company turned our district into a gerrymandering and we got our current useless Obama cheerleader.

Hypocrisy, thy name is the Republican party.

That it is, and projection is their “tell.”

Got my voter pamhlet day before yesterday, read all the measures and arguments for and against yesterday. I will definitely vote, now that I actually know what the measures say, and what the candidates stand for.

THAT is what concerns me about the “just vote” argument, the fact that less than 1% of voters will read these often complex measures, and 99% will vote based on the TV ads, vastly larger numbers of those paid for to support corportate positions, not what might be real, or in the public’s interest! Same for candidates of course. But hey, SCOTUS FIVE know who’s the real “person”.

It’s amazing that all the Republican controlled legislatures have passed voter restriction laws (just a coincidence and the Koch Brothers had nothing to do with it), and yet the widespread undetected voter frauds remain undetected.

You mean the voter fraud that republicans so frequently are convicted of?
