He must have something to sell. There would be no profit nor sense in showing that dirty laundry to Fox or anyone else. Either that, or he’s now secretly in the pay of the Republican party. Too close to midterms to be giving the “opposition” such juicy morsels.
Going into Syria; bad policy, in violation of their soveregn borders if not with their permission. In Iraq, we have the rationale, if not “excuse” that their government has asked us fo help, gee, just like South Viet Nam did.
Obama is simply trying to deal with the absolutely stupid foreign policies and lies of “W” and Cheney et al, period.
I disapprove of his “failures” with NSA etc, which just continute Cheney poicies and those of PNAC for U.S world domination as well.
That said, I’ve performed in combat in a one on one manner with the enemy, and also accidentally taken out the innocent. That later has affected my views greatly, oddly enough. Obama HAS sought to limit casualties to only the combatants, even though that’s been a hardly perfect system in an insurgent area, but at least he’s tried, and asked his military commanders to seek that process, not carpet bombing and mass killings. That is not a perfect thing in an imperfect world, but it’s better than a totally irrational program like “shock and awe”, which is exactly what CREATED ISIL, along with our ejecting all Sunni and Baathists from Iraq governance, without ANY consideration of what those folks could have offered. Instead, the violence is being commanded by the “nut fringe” of that group.
Back stabbing is however, the American way, just as we did to Ho Chi Minh in 1945 and ’54, and to all those Iraqis.
This all looks like the Dem’s know Obama is completely ruining their chances in not just 2014 but 2016 as well. They have to disassociate themselves from him or they don’t have a chance to hold onto the White House.
