When will we wise up and do what the Republicans plan to do to save health care?

That’s the insurance industry, not the economy or the health denial system, that’s taken a hit.

The sky is falling, the sky is falling! Run for the hills! For Colombia! For Switzerland!

Gee, and the bloody (amended) thing hasn’t even been passed by Congress yet, and they are even worse than the House.

“The next ship to go down is the U.S.S. Economy.”

You mean because Republicans are wasting taxpayer money on a law suit that has absolutely no merit? States can’t sue the government over this. Federal Supremacy Clause holds true here. They are, as in the last 8 years, wasting taxpayer money on nothing.

Ever seen that Sponge Bob episode when he’s celebrating “opposite day”?

Whenever I hear people cheer about getting government health care, it feels like I’m the only one not celebrating “opposite day”. I’m living in the midst of sh** government monopolized health care, really wishing Quebec had at least ONE non-socialist party to help us get better access to privatized care.

The only poll that shows that was done by FOX news.

Sorry brad-I know that’s what you want to believe

“A CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll found that 59 percent of those surveyed opposed the bill, and 39 percent favored it. All of the interviews were conducted before the House voted Sunday night, but the contents of the bill were widely known”

I had not seen that poll. Thanks for the update. Goes to show you the power of the press in changing public opinion.

The Democrats have succeeded in tricking the debate into not why, but when and how should the Feds control the health-care system.

It is as if we were no longer a Union of 50 states, but rather one Republic - States don’t matter.

If things don’t change soon, many of us (the top 2%) will take our economic entities elsewhere - out of the reach of the Community Organizer and his clan.

There is a reason why the wealthiest Swedes - are not Swedish …

“brad–like most liberals, you pick out the polls you want to believe.”

Most Americans support repeal of DADT and Conservatives pick the Republican-only polls that show that they want it to stay.

dems pick the polls they want to believe, repubs cling to out-of-date polls

I personally don’t think that any poll makes for a strong base of an argument - the public is fickle and the poll writers’ framing of a question plays a large roll in its outcome

Andy, anyone giving aid and comfort (like arms) to the enemies of the United States, like Iran(declared by Congress AND Executive Orders signed by Reagan) like Reagan and Oliver North DID DO during Iran/Contra, is guilty of treason- period- that’s in the Constitution.
