Just wait until it discovers what you seasoned it with; apple spice.

Kernel failure in popcorn and operating systems are invariably bad.

But the phrase “kernel panic” is pretty much specific to Linux/Unix, according to Wikipedia. I had to look it up, and I’ve been programming for 40 years.

Good pun – Macs will occasionally throw a kernel panic when they gets totally confused. They are usually related to a hardware conflict of some type. My experience is most of the are cleared by rebooting.

When we fully automated our business years ago, we used the latest technology; IBM PS2 with a 286 processor. We had several, with one at each checkout lane plus in the office..When I asked the IBM rep if I should worry about someone spilling something on a keyboard, he told me I could simply put the keyboard in a dishwasher and it would come out clean and working perfectly!.I never tested his recommendation…

There is no such thing as a bad pun … perhaps an attempt at a pun that doesn’t turn out to be one .. that would be a bad pun (although, I guess it really isn’t a pun at all). Okay .. no more extra bold coffee for me (this afternoon, anyway).
