Right. 102 air strikes is “get off my lawn.” Mike should start following the news, and reflect that in his cartoons.

Our bombing has been tactically successful in stalling their advances into non-Sunni areas, where they intended to commit genocide. The real problem for ISIS, is that Iran is now seriously bolstering the Iraq government. Meanwhile, the Kurds fight ISIS, but also seizing territory once controlled by the Iraqi government.

Because if Obama does ANYTHING, the Teapublicans will yell and scream that he’s overstepping his authority.

Tastless, hurtful to the victim’s family & friends, and utterly devoid of any creative satirical content. The Washington Post PAYS you for this?

ISIL (the more proper name actually) has killed thousands, not just two Americans for the propaganda effect. They are the result of our invading Iraq, and turning the Sunni and Baathist officers of the Army out in the streets, to join up with this, and other groups, they now lead.

“Why do they hate us?” is the question, and the answer is simple: The Bush Administration’s war on Saddam, and Islam. When Bush said “Crusade”, it wasn’t a slip of the lip, but a Freudian slip, as a new crusade against all Islamic peoples is exactly what he meant. That the most radical of them reacted radically, was only to be expected. That the vast majority of the 1.5 billion Muslims in the world are not in that radical group, still isn’t allowed to be noted in our media.
