Speaking of the National Debt here are a couple of gifts the GOP left you:

$720 million - cost each day for the Bush Wars $ 6.1 million - what we pay to China each day in interest

Of course all of that money is well spent, look what we are getting in return for our money.

Health Care? So a few Americans might not die, is it worth all that money?

But ya gotta understand, Ken…when the borrow and spend party cranks out those hot checks it’s all about truth, justice, and the American way! And of course, when the tax and spend party attempts to float all boats (regardless of race, creed or color), why there just are not enough “isms” in the English language to lam-bast them with!

I just find it interesting that a DECADE of the “possible” cost of health care is roughly equal to ONE YEAR of “defense” spending. Better health care may end up SAVING money in the long run. Exactly what is the long-term benefit of even one IED going off? or Hellfire missile- take your pick, bleeep for tat-

War is not good for children or other living things.

Trout and fennec, both Obama and I find some consolation in the war on terrorism, and think that it is a necessary evil to spend money to defend our civilians.

In what way do the Iraq and Afghanistan wars protect our civilians, Loco? Especially Iraq, which has boosted the number of anti-American Al Queda operatives enormously? I could see going into Afghanistan to get Osama bin Laden, but in Iraq we’re cleaning up after Bush’s mess.
