There are two lines I never want to hear from a salesman; this is one of them and the other is, “To be perfectly honest, …”..My answer to the first is, “Please keep your opinions to yourself”; and the response to the second is, “So, based upon this, everything you said up to this point is a lie.”

I once had a boss who would say, “If I want your opinion, I’ll give it to you.” He would then laugh loudly at the joke. Every. Single. Time.
