Mrs. Hillman: To help organize your refrigerator, I have borne a 6,000-calorie burden for the family this week! With no thoughts of self, I sampled everything for freshness! The leftover linguini! The take-home Thai! The pudding cups! The frozen puff pastry! The four-day-old three-bean salad! The tree-day-old four-cheese ravioli! Irving: Thanks, mom... ...But if you want to help, why not organize the garage?? Mrs. Hillman: There's no food in there.

I agree! Leave a trail leading into the garage, when she’s in, slam the door and lock it. End of problem. I don’t find that woman funny in the least…she’s too annoying.

If it were close to Christmas or Thanksgiving there would be food in the garage…that’s where we’d put the extra food when the fridge was already full; the garage was just as cold!

6,000 calories in a week isn’t very much food. That’s way less than the minimum the tell you to eat for optimal health.

She looks like that multi-armed Hindu god in panel 2. Seriously, Irving, even you don’t look amused at this point. Put your foot down and find them somewhere else to live. (Cathy is on her meds, otherwise she wouldn’t be smiling in the last panel. ;-))

That’s an EXTRA 6,000 calories… on top of whatever she normally eats …. either that, or she meant “hour”…
