Yep. If Obama doesn’t do what I want him to do, he’s an Autocrat. If he does what I tell him to, he’s a wimp. If he does nothing, or goes golfing, he’s just a do nothing President! So there!!
When we elected Obama, it was on his “there is not a red America and a blue America, there is the United States of America”. Sounds great— he was supposed to go to Washington and make nice with the Republicans, everyone would get part of what they wanted in the compromises that resulted, and we would get the country moving again.Problem is, that only works when both political parties want to move in the same direction. Obama’s goal is a more equal society where each child born has the same opportunity, given whatever limitations are within that individual, to achieve the American Dream. The Republicans, for decades, have made every possible attempt to tilt the playing field to favor the rich, who reciprocate by financing their campaigns. This is a fundamental difference. Compromise is very difficult when your basic goals are in direct opposition to each other, which is why Washington is accomplishing very little to help the American people. We have to make the decision. If we want the Republicans to return our country to the 1890’s situation, when a few people owned everything and everyone else lived in what we would now consider poverty, then we should vote for them. If we want Obama’s vision, where everyone has a chance at a Middle Class life, or if it’s in them, to do better— as long as they are playing by the same rules as everyone else, then we need to vote Democratic—not just for Obama, but for Senators and Congressmen, governors, dog catchers, who support that vision of America and will support Obama in achieving it.
And the congress has blocked every fact-based plan Obama has made to get out of the recession. The first stimulus package worked well, and prevented depression and built a lot of roads. The second stimulus package never happened.

It takes a True Believer to imagine that the spending somehow prevented a phantom depression in the meantime. Conservative critics predicted that the poorly directed glut of spending would increase our deficit and slow our recovery – which is exactly what happened.

She’s spouting a pretty common Republican “second take”.

Interesting twist of the truth. Borrow statements from two different conversations to make your lie.

We should get out and stay out of the mid-east entirely(especially Israel). It would save the taxpayers a fortune.

Perhaps by your standard, but the sole criterion you use is that he’s not a Republican.
