Death is not the enemy gentleman. If we're going to fight a disease, let's fight one of the most terrible diseases of all, indifference. Robin Williams in Patch Adams
Here’s a thought – why did CBS cancel “The Crazy Ones” when it was the highest rated new sitcom of the new season?Word has it – and I agree – Leslie Moonves, acting President of CBS, didn’t think it was funny. Why was it NOT funny?Word has it – and I agree – Robin Williams said “This is the wimpiest written comedy I’ve ever seen in all my days…”WHY was it the “wimpiest written comedy he’d ever seen in all his days?”Because the Writers’ Guild Union in Hollywood – apparently – only allows the works of militant Sodomites with no talent and no sense of humor to be filmed – all competing mirthful minds will be silenced by Big Brother devil-toys and salt-peter/Halidol in coffee cups. (OOOH! “Modern Family”! “Big Bang!” OOOH! So gay! so Cute!! So all the furk I can find on network television!)Anyhoo – it’s cancelled.Williams is decidedly depressed – instead of re-writes, or a “make-over”, it’s canned. Williams goes home, and the usual Hollywood hooey follows – “Where are all my friends now that I need them?”“Ahhh – skip it, Robin. Call me when you’re a success – ’til then…”Drugs – drink – rehab – relapse – boo-hoo – let’s call it a day – suicide. And now – endless teary tributes without an ounce of sincerity – except for his fans in the heartland he would have been wise to re-connect with…Hollywood – one more time – from my heart – you’re such a pussy.
Believe me, Churchy, the Depression is what overwhelmed his sense of self, judgement and loss of Hope. At the final point, it is really not a choice: it is the inescapable, bottomless pit into which one has fallen.

My parents told me how they remembered when Will Rogers died, in a plane crash in 1935. And that the whole country mourned for weeks at his passing.
Robin will probably be our generation’s most remembered loss.

The prescriptions that he may have been on could also lead to depression. Medicine has many consequences, many not good
