Um… I think the review staff at gocomics needs to reevaluate their standards for new comics…. Why is a strip, with the same art each day – but different and inane dialog – funny or entertaining? Did a focus group actually think this was worthy of publication? Sorry Ryan North – but this needs to be relegated to the dust bin of comics. Make that the incinerator.
Yes, sanjosetesttroll, someone thought this was worthy of publication. You don’t have to read it if it’s not your thing. I will never understand people who don’t appreciate that North has to come up with his dialogue to match the same art every day. It’s not the same strip day after day, and he’s managed to give the characters personality without changing their appearance.
Isn’t there enough negativity on the internet? If you don’t like the comic, just don’t read it. I, personally, get a kick out of it. Every day it is something new and, at the same time never changes. I love that Mr. North is posting the extra bit each day, since we wouldn’t otherwise be able to see them here on GoComics, too. Mr. North, I’ve added this comic to my daily feed and am enjoying it immensely.

@joshschr – I’m not a troll – I really like strips, collect strips, and strip books… this is the first time I’ve ever seen a comic that has no redeeming value at all ( IMHO )…..
The comments section is put here for people to comment – and, unlike joshschr, I don’t have to resort to calling people names, like troll, (but in joshschr case, I’m oh-so-tempted to make a happy exception).
@piksea – I’m not being negative. I actually pay for access to these comice. As a customer, I have a natural right to poo-poo on the quality of this strip. I hope that Mr. North has a better hit next time around. However, I am truly baffled as to how this passed muster for publication here. really.
Also, notice folks, that my comment has fostered a slew of responses here… and notice, if you will, that not many, if any, comments were on previous strips….. so, in making my opinion known, you’ve all jumped off the sidelines to support the feature that you all believe has value – good for you.
I’m surprised at how many people are/were previously unaware of this strip. It’s been around for years, and speaking for myself, much loved. Still working my way through the archives.
