Yes. Planned 10 hour drive to South Florida. 2 weeks there and a 10 hour drive back. Then I will take a week off to rest from the vacation.

I’m retired and I AM the eldest person in my family at present. BF has an elder mother and aunt and I reminded him last weekend that I have not met any of his family yet. Mine are not local, but they know of him.

If it does not happen soon . . . I will find someone else.

Lassie1You definately need that vacation for your own sanity girl. I hope you can find the time and funds to get a little relaxation. If nothing else, the day spa can do wonders in a few hours.

LISTEN UP GIRL! YOU CAN’T CONTROL EVERYTHING, NO ONE CAN. HERE’S SOME IDEAS, get in touch with someone who can provide some assistance. THEN, find somewhere to go, a Motel near a Mall and spend the day just going from store to store. Find a town close by and walk around exploring the stores, shops, restaurants in the area. Go to a movie and treat yourself to dinner and spend the night in a Bed and Breakfast or hotel/motel. If you are near a State Park, take your camera, or buy one, observe the nature around you and take some photos. Pack yourself a picnic lunch and enjoy your day in the peace of nature.

Hang in there Lassie! Been there!

I’m on staycation right now. The only thing that stresses me out is going to work.
