Down the hallway, another doctor was breeding a fluffy dog to fetch Big Macs……A Golden Arches Retriever.

Border Collies rule. We had one for 14 years. She was smarter than a lot of people I know. Still miss her. She was part of the family.

That’s the worst joke I ever read.

I enjoyed it very much. Thank you.

When he goes home to his big, empty house, he’ll complain of being a doctor without boarders, and he still can’t find anyone to replace his porch floor, making him, again, a doctor without boarders. And his date last week found out that he really considered himself a doctor without borders. .All this is not to be confused with the hospital party last month when the caterer failed to show up, leaving them to be doctors without hors d’oeuvres.

I lived in Oz in the 60’s and I would go back there tomorrow, if I could afford it. We only left because my mother was terminally ill and wanted to be near her family. My dad was in the RAAF and loved the place, too.

I wouldn’t consider border collies “fluffy”. They’re long-haired, but not fluffy.

I love all dogs, but border collies spoiled me for adopting a less “intelligent” and obedient breed. We’ve had four of them (three “rescued”) and all were wonderful. (Most have long hair, but some have shorter coats.) My wife said this cartoon would have been even better if the doctor had said: “Wish I had a super-smart dog…”
