Ruthie is right about the last. Housework is pointless. I suppose that is why I am one of the worst housekeepers. I’m not filthy, and I would not leave an open can of paint for fear of it getting turned over, or any open container of liquid for that matter. Rarely leave any open food out. But I just don’t keep up w/housework. I am 65 years old and that will probably never change.

Ruthie, that argument works even when you get older. It is still going to be pointless. Housework is just unpaid janitorial work.

House cleaning is very satisfying after you are done and the house is clean.

Like the parable of the two sons where one said “I won’t do it!” but he ended up doing it anyway.
