Nowadays it is the teacher who’ll be in trouble. How dare they give a kid a 0 grade for not doing their homework! There was one teacher who quit when they wanted to force her to give any kid who did not do their homework a 50% grade and her integrity would not let her do it.
When I was a sub , a student came in late and started acting up. When I called the office for a “pickup,” He said he was going to tell his mom and get me fired. I still laugh about that. :-D
