I actually had a roommate in college who would interupt a conversation with something totally off the wall. One time I was having a really important conversation with someone when my roommate started to interrupt us and I just snapped, “Jim, this is a really important conversation, please don’t interupt until we’re done.” To my surprise Jim actually shut up and we were able to finish our conversation.
“Ooops..Pardon Me! (Icy glare) I didn’t mean to interrupt the beginning of your sentence with the middle of MINE!” Some people got the point, others didn’t.
