    Some dogs are very territorial.

I agree with Bev, Muffin has a very long memory and Mr. Malroney not only came without milkbones the last time he visited, he told Muffin to shoo. Muffin simply does not “shoo”!

My second husband’s ex-wife had a nasty little Pekinese. One day she asked me to take her to get groceries and when I helped her bring them up to her apartment the critter latched onto my heel at the Achilles tendon. She thought it was “soooo cuuuute”. I told her if it didn’t let go I’d take it home and feed it to my German Shepherd and Russian Blue.

And the lady is wondering, ’what’s your problem?’ Love her expression.

Cuddles was an Umbrella Cockatoo who had no patience with yappy little dogs or with people who ignored her or worse, told her “no”.

She loved to pick up anything she saw mom using (pens, pencils, paintbrushes) but also heavy hand tools and steak knives. To this day, every steak knife with a wooden handle has bite marks in it.

She KNEW that she was more dangerous with a knife, especially when running all the surfaces of my kitchen counter. (It was best to let her be until she calmed down).

Did Muffin lose all her teeth? That’s why she is using a hammer? Am I taking this all too seriously?Fenton? A double old-fashioned over here. Make it two.

I decided on a nice mild Southern Comfort tonight, thanks, Fenton.

I packed some Guiness Black Ale for tomorrow and a bit of brandy for the chicken (I have to take a turn at cooking now and then, even if it IS at his house); I also picked some herbs from my garden and will be taking along some onion, mushrooms and string beans (never know what’s in his frig).

I am also cutting back more on my TV, but today (after morning “news”) I watched Endeavor, Project Runway, Watch What Happens and TMZ Live (celebrity gossip) while I par-baked whole grain crusts that I topped with my own sauce, mushrooms, healthy pepperoni and 3 cheeses (provolone, parmesan and mozzarella).

I also cooked kidney and black beans for a salad (forgot to buy garbanzos) and ate one of my 8 little pizzas.
