Self imposed limit of two terms? Let’s see the righties complain about that! It may prove interesting what he has to say til the end of the year without having to worry about campaigning.

Pretty Boy has so many corporate connections, he is just positioning himself for his sugar daddies to buy him the Indiana Governor’s mansion and then the White House.

Don’t be surprised if E.B. turns up as the corporatist candidate for President. He would make a perfect shill for the corporatist. It would only take PhRMA $2Billion in order to out spend all comers. This includes rigging the voting machines as was done for Bush in Ohio in 04 and Scott Brown in Mass. in10.

I bet E.B. decided to do this on the day that the Supremes arginalized the American voter to 2nd class citizen.

Don’t forget all of the other Democrats deciding to pass on a seat in Washington. Such as no more Kennedys in Congress! I give them credit, along with any other politician that scoots, that they foresee the disaster this year will be.

After Reid proved it impossible for any “centrist” to accomplish anything the country will just have to wait until November and hope for a change in Nevada. He knifed the bipartisan bloc in the back.

MKITT is this all there is in the computing world? tried Xubuntu: dial-up issues and slow processor led me to give up that track.. tried DamnSmallLinux: Pleased but dialing-up is the block; and I can’t find my USB drive which has my ISP’s software patch? on it… tried BillGatesEnrichmentProgram (Microsoft) in the Past: Found out I bought nothing! You don’t have to respond (Just grousing). I’m thinking of taking HP/WinMe MoBo(Award) and current hardware with XubuntuOS and ironing out dial-up issue…Or finding ISP.deb on Da*nSmallLinux…somehow…through all that command language terminal nonsense…

My USB drive is just where I stored the file juno.deb that JunoISP provided me when I sent them an email concerning dialing-up with Linux…I have no idea where on the DSL GUI or directory to find my USB drive (all that command stuff should getme there, I assume. With windows I just point and click on the drive). For all I know that file will solve everything but if I can’t get it to DSL’s Desktop? I can’t use it. If I try Xubuntu (which has xfce), I still have that option to try… Thanks for that info MKITT, I think I should try that next… Patience, patience…My xubuntu was kind of slow, though; which is why I tried DSL (still trying DSL’s dial-upPPP config file, so I might eventually get through. Browsing the Web is about all I use the computer for so it’s essential).Thank you again, MKITT.

Does Palin need to stay and be dragged through the mud by Democratic operatives wjhile she has a Family and an audience that respects her to take care of? Evan Bayh did it(quit), and you Libs will probably be running him behind Hillary in 2012. You want the same old? You still got it with Obama. Sarah doesn’t want to operate in the same old politics as lodestone meme. We know what government SHOULD do …we lose the game and our credibility when we start compromising on what should be done in favor of pork-barrel and crony-politics. I hope the dirty, arrogant republicans keep sand-bagging you Libs by using your own methods until you both destroy yourselves.

“You want the same old? You still got it with Obama. Sarah doesn’t want to operate in the same old politics as lodestone meme”

Right, right. I gave Sarah Palin the benefit of the doubt when she quit the governorship of Alaska to spend more time with her family, and then jumped in the toxic debate on healthcare with one of the most inflammatory, erroneous statements yet (death panels, remember).

Sarah Palin is a politician. A skilled, talented, opportunistic and ruthless politician. She may be the next big thing for the GOP, or she might end up weakening it, I’m not sure which one, but if you think she’s something new, pure and exciting - well, I’ll leave you to your opinion.

Ironically, for all her criticism towards Obama she is, in some ways (not all) , his mirror image.

4Uk, Americans want a Pop-Messiah to check off on all their selfish, narcissistic indulgences - whether economically or socially. We’re not ready for someone who just wants to do an honest job of serving her God and Country. That’s good for you Europeans, isn’t it? Or are you headed for Hell in a hand-basket too? Specifically, Sarah is what this country needs, but the political establishment ain’t headed there, no way!

“Specifically, Sarah is what this country needs, but the political establishment ain’t headed there, no way!”

Smellchecker, pup, or whatever - I think Sarah Palin is just what you said of Obama: a pop-messiah. She’s pretty much the same as you said, only for the right wing, or at least a portion of it. Whenever I come across her statements, her rhetoric is just the kind of dogma and partisan self-aggrandizing that you can hear from pundits and talk-show leaders, designed to appeal to their audience, and bleeep everyone else, feel-good eulogies and strock phrases with little or no content. I personally think (from what I know of her experience, education and her past behavior) she can do a much worse job serving her country than Obama can. Yes, just what the US needs… to really head down the drain. If that’s what God wants, sure, she can serve him better, too.

And no, beyond a few nutty haters or armchair poltical strategists, no one wants the US to go that way… especially as rapidly as that. 2001 and 2008 showed how a financial crisis that started in the US can mess up the entire world economy. So believe it or not, not everyone outside the borders of the US hates that country or wants it to fail.
