When all of Gaza is crowded populations, and they’ve used tunnels to bring in food and medicine past the Israeli, and Egyptian, blockades, it’s not hiding behind civilians, it’s just not having anywhere TO hide!

So Rogers, should the Israelis just duck and pray while thousands of rockets rain down daily on their country?Maybe if they ask real nicely, Hamas will no longer want to kill every one of them.

In 1979, the students invading the U.S. embassy used women holding children to advance in front of them, so the Marines would not (and did not) shoot.

I am not necessarily defending the Israeli’s, but we Americans must try to put ourselves in their shoes. How does one deal with a group, supplied by Iran, which is sworn to their total obliteration?

The Hamas rockets get shot down by Israel’s “Iron Dome” defense system. Israel’s rockets are sent into the heart of Palestinian cities. Israel gives advanced warnings in a half hearted attempt to reduce casualties, but they are still aiming missiles at innocent civilians. The majority of the rockets hit civilian targets and do massive damage. The damage and death toll caused by the Israelis only serve as a recruiting campaign for Hamas. The Israelis must be smart enough to know that Hamas is going to evacuate as well. What is the point of aiming missiles directly at civilian cities to hit supposed Hamas targets if they know the Hamas will escape anyway?

All they have to do is oust the Hamas and and do not re-elect them.

@Size of a pea: I, too, am astonished that, for the first time ever, I agree with something Harleyquinn has to say. This could turn out to be a weird day….

Thinking like yours is the main reason fighting quickly escalates between those two.

shameful. when we talk about terrorists we talk about individual criminals. when we talk about bombing civilians it is state terrorism. a thousand time more murderous than a few fanatical imbeciles. it is a gouvernment taking terroristic tactics in order to subjugate a whole nation. shameful.

    Get a grip Israel.

when you look at the score board of this conflict since the year 200014,400 palestinian children murdered versus 20 Israeli children murdered.8,000 Palesinian children under 10 in prison, versus 0 Israeli children in prison50,000 palestinian civilians injured, versus 80 Israeli civilians injured.

when you look at the tally you wonder who is really the terrorist.

There is no evidence yet that Hamas is using human shields. There is evidence that Israel is bombing the crap out of them and keeping accurate reporting to a trickle.

It is indeed a strange day when I completely agree with Harleyquinn. Israel by every right needs to defend herself against continued rocket attacks even after agreeing to a cease fire. It’s unfortunate Hamas is using civilians as shields then putting the blame on Israel. The bottom line is the Palestinians want nothing more than to completely erase Israel from existence. That’s not going to happen ever again.

“Disgusting bigotry even for Rogers, he might as well come out and admit that he shares Hamas’s goal of kiIIing every single Jewish man woman and child on the planet.”A little history: The original UN plan gave roughly half of what was then called Palestine to the Palestinian Jews and the other half to the Palestinian Muslims. Jerusalem was to be an international city possessed by neither faction. The Muslims didn’t like the plan because most of the land was theirs. The stood to loose a lot of territory. Many of the Jews agreed to the plan, but some did not. They wanted all of the land as well as control of Jerusalem. The hard line Israelis set about removing the Muslim Palestinians from their territory as soon as Israel officially became and independent nation. They’ve been at it ever since. When you look at a modern map of Israel, remember that much of that was stolen from the Muslim Palestinians.

“If you are supporting a known terrorist organization that is aiming rockets at “innocent civilians” how are you innocent yourself? Both sides are guilty.”So you’re saying that living in the same city as Hamas has set up shop is “supporting terrorism?” Interesting concept.

Jasse, a correction to a common mistake, please note the map, and all documents related, stated “ARAB” state, NOT “Muslim” state. Many Arabs ARE Christians, coptic and others.

Arab AND Jews/Israelites/Hebrews, are NOT just a religious group, but also recognized as an ethnic and even racial group by many (especially the Eastern Europeans) but it goes back to being ONE TRIBE- They’re all SEMITES, and the wars predate “religious affiliation” by CENTURIES!!

Unless describing the nut cases on BOTH SIDES, one is not “anti-Semitic” when merely recognizing the nuts have fallen from the same tree, but NOT into the same piles.

If YOU choose to walk up to a steroid bulked pro wrestler and attack him, it’s HIS fault for defending himself? Really?.Your also upset that Israel is technologically advanced and a prosperous country. Don’t hide that swastika, wear it proudly.
