Geothermal springs in Laugarvatin, Iceland, or so hot that bread can be baked in the surrounding Earth. Alligators can eat a quarter of their body weight in one go- that's the equivalent to an average man eating 400 chicken wings and one meal. Members of the Massachusetts Bay Colony were only allowed to wear gold buttons, leather boots, belts and ruffles if they had a personal fortune of more than 200- about $100,000 in today's money.

Spring cooking happens in New Zealand, too. I’d be concerned about the sulfur flavoring, tho.
No wonder gators can go a long time without eating.

So you can only wear alligator boots if you can eat 1/4 of your body weight in Icelandic chicken sandwiches? I find this comic confusing.

Alligators have a feeding season that lasts 6 months. So, half of the year, they don’t eat much if anything at all.

Mom used to say that I was part alligator..I went to a diner with a friend and they had all you can eat shrimp for $9.99..After being at the table for about 45 minutes the manager came up and said “Boys.I know we said ALL you can eat, but, you’re abusing the privilege.” We left(and came back next Tuesday for all you can eat..RIBS!)
