    People do tend to blame the gate clerks. They take plenty of abuse.

    We often carry (wrapped) chocolates with us when we travel through the airport. It’s a lovely thing to share with the clerks at the baggage desks and the gate (as well as the flight attendants). Sometimes, though, just being calm and understanding is the best thing.

    snort Yeah right, the snowflakes in airports I’ve been through just call their superiors or security if you dare raise your voice. Never mind if you’re already upset, you still can’t raise your voice.
