Last poster of Obama looks like a deer in headlights…. the first three are pretty good too.

The parties basically chose those candidates for us, not the “people.” Would the wall look any better to anyone with a lineup of Dukakis, Dole, Algore, and Kerry?

Why don’t the Leftists write strips making fun of the millions that unions can throw around, too? Hmmm…

Bingo. On the day workers have the same financial resources as business owners, we won’t even be having this kind of discussion.

How about public financing? It works quite well in the states where it is in use.

Every session, there’s a public financing bill in Congress. Every session, it gets ignored by the party in power and by the mainstream press.

In the matter of public wisdom the sum of the parts is not necessarily equal to the whole.

Thank you Churchill, I was about to make the same post. That does not even count the millions spent on friendly voter registration, get out the vote and mailings to union members.

Human et al are living back in the 1920s when unions were powerless. Times have changed. Follow the bankruptcy of California and NYC because of union salaries and retirement benefits. Those totals literally are billions not the millions corporations will spend.

“The only way to do that is to make political ads free for all. But that would result in a free for all.”

Exactly, Bruce. Anyone should be able to run for president. To avoid having countless of obscure candidates, pre-candidates should be obliged to show proof they have enough support.

the uknighted states chamber maids of commerce spent the most $$$ in the last 2 years, the MOST EVER), HENCE we are getting THEIR form of government.

as long as the N.A.B. is setting the political ad rates( as they DO each feb- DESIGNED to keep THEM in control and BOTh parties sucking up lobbyists for advertising dollars), their will be NO “reform”, and political control will remain with the foreign ownership of the media(s), be it lord black in Chicago,(suntimes) or lord murdock of fox noose. THEY will tell U WHO and what to hate-period, and who is “allowed” to run their political races, and win, a seat for the chamber maids of commerce, and their anti-family, anti worker, anti union and anti American views.

Hence we suffer, under the recent US chambermaids take over of the Congress. twas their monies that installed Sir reagan(first american president to get on his knees b4 royality(bp’s queen), right after sir Kissinger, b4 sir ghbush, and HIS crowd of Tories. ALL the poverty, ALL the lack of production by the nations industrialists, the hunger, as ALL directly because of the control of the chamber maids of commerce( and their new parade of lords and ladies- directing what you will think or ‘debate” over). Only the topics of the chambermaids/mallworts, and their (lobby $$$)control of Congress, holds the Republic from moving to peace and forward. Follow the money, it IS that simple, count the “free” media, and you will be shocked.

Do you mean the “right decision” or the “correct decision”?.

Because, if there are any more “right decisions”, we can all just kiss our democracy goodbye.

One of the reasons writters like to write for movies, yes they get lots of money, and get to meet famous people, but the great thing is that they get to write a big truth and then have chacter say it out loud in a movie so that thousands and thousands of people hear it.

In the movie “Men In Black” one chacter, who has just found out that lots & lots of aliens are living on Earth, ask why is this being kept a secret, after all people can be rational.

The other chacter replies: (and I am probably gettings this wrong, so check out the movie) A person is intelliegent, often rational, brave, and can often handle all sorts of difficult information. PEOPLE, ARE NOT RATIONAL, THEY ARE EASILY MANIPULATED, FRIGHTEN, PANICED, AND TURNED INTO A MOB.

The money spent by unions pales in comparison to the money spent by corporation, the rich and the powerful. Anyone who pretends the unions are on an equal footing is either a fool, a toady or both.

@Mattard53 Answer these fundamental questions: Who do the individuals in the unions work for? Who is paying their salary?

    and here’s the big one:

Can you name a Union that rakes in more money than any major corporation in the U.S.? And how do they do it?

When you answer these questions you will come to find out that you’ve been duped!
