Love the analogy between the dummy having a few words scribbled on her palm, to that of a law professor with a teleprompter.

You guys are *so* jealous that Obama is actually a multiply-published writer (best since Teddy Roosevelt) who speaks full, grammatical sentences, aren’t you? This is a cartoon about Palin, whose obvious failings you have studiously ignored. And scotty old boy, comparing Sarah Palin to Jesus is simply hilarious. She’s an opportunistic egomaniac politician of dubious ethical standards who barely has three brain cells to rub together, whose idea of leadership is to quit the only leadership position she had. Yeah, that’s a real Christian figure.

Is Scott actually comparing Sara Palin to Christ?

Next thing you know they’ll have a show on Sunday called Sara on the Sabbath :)

She is a moron who has to crib her talking points on her hand like a seventh grader.

A friend of mine pointed out: 1) she had the answers “cribbed,” meaning she obviously knew what questions would be asked, and 2) even given that, she didn’t have the “chops” (as he put it) to commit the answers to memory. Very interesting.

@Wildcard - Because she doesn’t do interviews with anyone who might actually ask her real questions. Obama, meanwhile, ventures into the Lion’s den and comes out not only alive, but victorious. THAT sounds like a Biblical reference, y’know, since scott’s actually comparing Palin to Christ (that’s frickin’ fantastic, by the way. Imagine Jesus quitting the Christ thing and charging incredibly steep speaking fees to “spread the gospel”).

“Love the analogy between the dummy having a few words scribbled on her palm, to that of a law professor with a teleprompter.”

Look up “hypocrisy.” It’ll be good for you to learn. Oh, and just because he’s a professor of law doesn’t mean he is barred from using a teleprompter. He doesn’t need a teleprompter to answer questions. He also doesn’t attack people for using or not using one… whereas Palin attacks someone for using a teleprompter… while needing to have her “core beliefs” written on her hand. THAT’S what everyone’s pointing out. Wake up.

” … an opportunistic egomaniac politician of dubious ethical standards who barely has three brain cells to rub together …”

The best description yet, of most Democrat politicians … .some Republicans qualify also, but those are Democrats at heart anyway.

Once again; I still fail to understand how anyone who quits any public service position (or any position in life where they are relied upon by others) earns the privilege of continued public service. Quitters are just that; quitters can never be trusted to do anything other than quit when the going get’s tough. If I vote to elect a politician (party affiliation irrelevant) to serve in public office and they are elected what does it tell me when they quit to chase a bigger dream and money simply because they feel everyone is out to get them? My impression is that they are in it for themselves and not to do the people’s business. Very sad the lack of integrity and even sadder the acceptance of it……………………….

A little harsh of Palin, but she deserves it. Shes one of the most inexperienced people to ever run for public office and people need to see what she is like.

@scottfreitas Dude. In your argument you just said anyone who doesnt have the same political views as you is godless. That is one of the most ludicrous things Ive ever heard. You sir disgust me, just because other people don’t believe in the same religion or have different views doesn’t mean they are godless or, as you came close to mentioning, heathen scum. So go ahead, have that picture of Abraham Lincoln as your avatar, it only shows how much of a hypocrite you are.

Gautam Buddha was apparently poisoned. Ghandi was shot. A lot of folks who taught peace ended up on the wrong end of folks who loudly protest FOR war and hate- I think those who vent steam and hate are the dangerous ones.

MotiveMagus, you should look into Obama’s writing history. You can read about it from multiple sources. Barack Obama did NOT write Dreams From My Father. William Ayers did. You can look at Andersen’s book on Barack and Michelle, for starters….

As far as Palin, no she’s not the greatest leader in the world, but she is someone that many of us are proud of for numerous reasons.

Our President has many faults, disappointing his believers in small ways again and again–but this lady is an embarrassment. And I wish she’d stop wearing that teased-up looking hairpiece.

I think the people who like and defend Palin’s every word and deed aloud consider her a a dingbat in private. You can still be a “true” republican if you don’t support Sarah Palin. You can still be a feminist while criticizing her too. Is Sarah Palin worth your integrity?

Cogent; Absolutely…………. Scott; Sarah and her worthless husband wanted to succeed from the union, whatever happened to ‘In God we Trust”? How does that represent all those brave and honorable people who have died for this country and for your God? Mr. Obama sold his soul to the corporate structure but at least he didn’t quit and sell his soul to the devil and abandon the people who elected him as did your heroine. ……………………..

I care not much for a man’s religion whose dog and cat are not the better for it………………. Abraham Lincoln

Not according to Bill Ayers! Who would know other than him? “Not even close”…as if you were there!

Read the textual analysis series by Jack Cashill. It’s irrefutable! You really should look through some of these links…if Obama were really some kind of literary savant, I would give him his due, but he’s a patent phony, magus!

You guys are all fussy about her writing notes in her hand?

    And ignore Obama’s ubiquitous (tele)prompters?

You people are too funny for words. Snerk

Actually, this cartoon is not about her notes, it’s about something she said. Moreover, if you read the posts on cartoons which actually are about her notes, you will find that a number of us people have said that we don’t care about that at all. So far as I’m concerned she can be channeling Joan of Arc or Catherine the Great – what matters is policies and programs. This silly issue is a distraction – on both sides – and we should talk about something that matters.

“Grumpy Demo” had a splendid comeback for the lead question:

Q: How’s that hopey, changey stuff? -Sarah Palin

A: Going better that your “abstinence only” sex education for your daughter.
