Movie rights for “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” were bought by Warner Bros. Jennifer Lawrence has signed on for Goldilocks, with an option for two sequels.

Don’t judge a book by its movie.

Calvin certainly has his lines down. And his dad is finding it difficult to read between the lines.

I always liked Chuck Jones’ take on the Three Bears – the tiny volcanic-tempered dad, the deadpan mom, and big oaf Junyer.

Calvin and his pet tiger Hobbes are ready for bed so Calvin’s dad is going to read him a bedtime story as soon as Calvin’s mom is done washing the dishes. Hobbes doesn’t seem interested in the story so he leaves to eat some tuna out of a can that was purchased at the store down the street from the lawn mower repair shop owed by the little Italian guy that kind of looks like Mario from the video Mario and Luigi eat a cracker where they fight Sonic the Hedgehog.

Not Benadryl®, but Ritalin®. Both can have paradoxical effects in children.

I was disappointed by the movie -the ending was so different from the book. the altered ending. Atwood’s book leaves us wondering… what happened ? … we can surmise
