As opposed to someone like, say Mr. Limbaugh who couldn’t even be bothered to finish Community College? Says a lot about the flock that worships him I think.

Bush has plenty of university degrees. But what really matters, and what he shares with Palin, is a lack of intellectual curiosity.

It’s quite a funny cartoon Ted! Though I still think you should be focusing more on the proponents of the conservative ideology than on the president, as I fear this country will follow a path of irrelevancy and more strife as long as the status quo continues to be directed by the special self-serving interests of the corporativist hegemons.

They have seen the inherent weakness in the separation of powers and representative democracy, in that they are ineffective in changing policies in a drastic manner. This political structure obstructs change in quite an effective manner, allowing for it only after decades of strife between opposing ideas.

We’d be better off starting from scratch, say, modeling the political structure towards a parliamentary system such as those of Britain and Canada.
