Granddad: I'm serious, boy - that grass has to be cut today! Huey: Ok. But can Riley do half? He's just watching TV. Granddad: Well, to be honest, I'm a little nervous having that boy around anything with spinning blades... Huey: (sigh) Well, as much as I think it's wrong to reward misbehavior with less responsibility, I reluctantly concur. Grandad: Remember last summer's weed whacker incident? Darned shame what he did to that li'l white girl.

There are many other kinds of chores equally odious: cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming and mopping floors, cleaning windows inside and out, laundry (make sure to have color safe detergents) which includes wash, dry, fold/hang up, and put away before laundry is done. ;)

Last summer? I thought this was their first summer living there; besides Riley would not be tall enough to hold a weed whacker.
