The antics of the Democratic congress are embarrassing. They should be outraged and demanding accountability from the IRS. By not doing so they risk any credibility they may have on their claims to want a responsive, well-run government (as opposed to merely a government that keeps them in power).

Just imagine if the IRS went after Al Sharpton’s National Action Group under the Bush administration and they said, “Sorry, all the emails concerning this have been deleted due to a mysterious crash of the system”.Front page news for months!!!!!

And his personal pride and joy National Action Network owed more than $880,000 in unpaid federal payroll taxes ny post

The witness should have asked Issa how far up Issa’s rear end he should shove his fist to pull his head out.

How about all the pardons handed out to those working for Reagan who were CONVICTED if “high crimes” under the Constitution.

Criminal activity should indeed be punished. Idiots like Issa should be censured and removed. Yes, the country deserves better, but it ain’t going to happen with 2-year olds controlling the House, trying to appease those with tea-soaked diapers.

The IRS had an vendor that stored the emails. The IRS cancelled the contract when the hearings started. I’ll bet you $1,000 those emails are still on the vendor’s servers. And if they are not then there is a paper trail ordering the vendor to delete the emails.
