I must say, the crocs are getting resourceful… and surprisingly competent as politicians.

Send this strip to Stantis. He ran out of ideas years ago.

Pig made the first political comment. But Zeeba Neighba sees through it all. Dumb crocs!

“Being on one side is bad for a cartoonist, cuts his ability to poke fun at politics by one half. "

Only true if both sides create equal amounts of joke-fodder, which I don’t think has been the case since, oh, the Carter administration.

Go Pastis! This is great! I am on of the 5 million self-employed that had their insurance ripped from them with insurance companies no longer allowed to sell individual policies ,forcing me into ObamaCare. I refuse to participate in that scam. The IRS can only get the fine (tax) if you get a refund. They cannot resort to their normal methods (yet). Government cannot even build a website!

Until all of the crap hit the fan I never knew just how much of a socialist I am. Living in countries with nationalized healthcare showed me what good it can do for the people. I am one of those that insurance wouldn’t cover due to all of my “pre-existing conditions”. Growing up military it wasn’t a problem. If you spent about a third of your life from birth to 18 in hospitals then maybe you’d understand why we need to change our system. The Obamacare we wound up with was not what I wanted, but it is better than what we had.

I agree that the AHCA is not what we wanted. I blame the Republicans as much as the Democrats for the sorry plan we got (Note: I am either Democrat nor Republican, I have a brain and vote the issues.) They refused to cooperate until at the last possible moment when they saw the bill would pass, they said – If you cancel the plan we will agree to sit and talk. Really? If they had worked together we could have had a good plan instead of the sorry mess we have. – Richard Nixon had a good plan, why couldn’t the Republicans have used it? Oh yeah, they couldn’t be seen cooperating, bad for the party. - Bah – humbug to both sides for making a mess.

Here’s an idea. The Congress votes according to what the people in their districts want to do, then the Senate can vote on what the people in their State want. Never mind, the Court would find that unconstitutional.

I love how this strip is carefully crafted to please both sides of the isle.  Republicans will view it as a critique to Obamacare and Obama’s administration.  Democrats will view it as a satire of how Republicans critique Obamacare (and anything Obama-related) with baseless, outrageous accusations. Everyone gets to believe that Pastis is on their side.

Usually you get great slam dunks out of Stantis, not Pastis. Congratulations Stephen, that was a good slam.

C’mon the strip is comedy, not an invitation to debate politics. More than half the comments are irrelevant to the strip today, and those readers who can’t just shutup and enjoy the humor are tiresome ad nauseum.

Do people get flagged on the Doonesbury strip? Before anyone throws a rock at Pastis, remember that Trudeau has been getting away with running a political commentary for 40 years.

Using my best STEVE URKLE voice:.DID I DO THAT?!?.On a day that Stantis did a playful Prickly City, I’m the one who mentioned on that site that there was political commentary going on here in PBS..Lo, and behold, the usual gang I see on PC moved over to PBS!.I agree with Strod above – as written, no matter which side you’re on, it sure looks like Pastis is on your side!.Lots of laughs! Both the strip and the commentary!

Stephan Pastis said in a treasury comment that he hesitated to run this strip because readers would see it as a commentary on Obamacare. Maybe he should have included the Comic Strip Censor.
