There is only one way to control well-armed crazies in the middle east, and that is permanent occupation. Just be prepared for constant firefights forever. I imagine that is just what some posters here (and some legislators) want. At least there will be jobs in “defense”, even if the rest of our economy crashes because of the costs involved.

Oh, and we’d better work double-time on fixing problems with the VA, because demand will skyrocket again……but don’t dare raise taxes or cut corporate welfare. Hey, but at least our oil will be cheap…worked so well the last time…..

When was it the job of the US to hold up the whole planet anyway?

To be accused of “dropping the ball” has proven far less deadly than constantly dropping the bombs, in the wrong countries, on the wrong people, for the wrong reasons.

I’ve never heard of “the Obama Doctrine.” If you have to make things up, you probably don’t have a good idea for your cartoon.

“Obama Doctrine” gets over a million hits on Google. It also has a wikipedia entry.

Somehow I doubt Stantis just “made it up”.
