The corruption in the Ministry of Education in Kenya has caused the UK last month, and more recently a week ago, the US, to suspend funding for free primary school education in Kenya.
I guess Gado is suggesting an ultimate sanction, a la the Chinese, should be applied to those who deprive children of much needed funding for their education.
I wondered about that and after some random searching I suspect the woman may be senior principal magistrate, Cecelia Githua, but I’m not so sure.
I don’t see any female name mentioned amongst the accused.
The Minister of Education is Sam Ongeri (first panel).
3rd person is likely Karega Mutahi, Education’s Permanent Secretary.
Methinks their heads on a platter are being called for.
