When I was little, Grandad told me when was a teenager, he and his dad caught a whole group of them in the lettuce garden! They went back in the house, got out their Winchester 73’s, loaded them with double-naught buck shot shells, went back out there and…well, to make a long story short, by evening, their smokehouse had 85 rabbits hanging about!
Here it is crowding in on July and my dog has not seen even one rabbit yet this year [me either]. Other years she’s chasin’ one 4-5 times a week. Shortage year?
if that shquirrul isn’t careful he might get a thumpin’ from somebunny. I saw a bunny running by yestiddy.the bunnies are cutely drawn and the squirrels are drawn funny looking.

As many gardens s I’ve had, I’ve never had any problems with bunnies. Guess I’m just lucky.
