It seems implied in Mr. Kallaugher’s cartoon that strong funding for the military is also part of the plan. Not surprising since every time something happens overseas, we hear a cry to arms regardless of cost or potential consequences. It does seem hopeful that the soldier seeking to fight immigration is finding himself isolated from the agendas of the rest of his unit. It would be more hopeful, and of more use to our fellow citizens, were jobs to be given a more prominent position, or as Mr. Boehnor said in 2010, laser focus. There is much to be done and too few willing to invest in our nation to do what needs doing.Respectfully,C.
I would be happy if they accomplished anything real that helps the country. So far they have spent years on Benghazi and trying to revoke the ACA. No new infrastructure, no tax reform including all those subsidies paid to the oil industry and peanut farmers, no immigration reform, and few new jobs as a result.
Maybe I mis-understood this ‘toon initially. I didn’t mean to “fight” jobs, but I guess that is what the troopers on the right are doing. Please ignore my above post.
But I DO think congress and the White House, at least the next occupants in 2016, should make it a priority to entice American companies to bring their operations back to the 50 states, even if it means repealing NAFTA.

Put the “Jobs” trooper in front. Place the" Illegal Immigration" trooper near the rear.

Fight spending? They will borrow and spend on different stuff. That is the only difference.

That is completely backwards. That one soldier should be holding those other banners and the group should be holding the “fight immigration” banner.

The fact that libs leave out the word “illegal” shows they don’t care about breaking the law.
