For a long time, many of us have used the wrong terminology. Climate change is a normal progression on planet Earth. What scientists are trying to warn us about, is HUMAN INTERFERENCE in the normal, global process. Man does not cause climate change, but man (with 7 billion & counting) now has the ability to accelerate climate change by upsetting the balance of our atmosphere with the tons of carbon gasses we release daily, the pollution of our rivers, lakes and oceans.
