Lio, look again, those are REAL ducks!

Can’t just depend on book-learning, Lio! Get out in the field and observe nature! Then write your school-report….

Platypuses, being Australian, would drive right hand drive vehicles.

Scott and Badger,,if “Joe” makes a comment here,,,he will surely tell you that would be wrong to say…If you go to Australia and drive a car !!!!!!

i’m going to duck the whole issue.

Now they’re going to go park by the lake and watch the submarine races.

Why read the book when you can see it for yourself first-hand.

The platypuses were one of my favourite things to watch at the zoos in Australia … I don’t remember seeing any convertibles.

I don’t really think they make little electric toy cars in the US with a right-hand driver seat, PowerWheels Ruuule!!!

That’s the problem with most school biology textbooks - they’re out of date.

It’s a little-known fact that the platypus believes in “going Dutch”; when on a date, each one’s pleasures will be on the other’s bill.

As Mark Twain observed and both Lio and duck-billed platypi (if that’s the correct plural) would agree, “Never let your schooling interfere with your education.” What I wonder about is, what is Lio going to do next, observe the rest of their date?

what the heck, the book being not exactly up to date w/ mating habits of the platypus made sense but the gag makes no sense…?
