This, folks, is why my ringtone is a Chinese pop song. You hear “Für Elise” in a business meeting, I’m not one of the sixteen people reaching for their phones.

I can just imagine the automobile designers thinking when they came up with that feature to find your car or make sure that it’s locked, “Gee, what the world definitely needs is another annoying unnecessary noise!”

My trick is to take a picture of the nearest lane marker from the perspective of the car. Bonus for catching a landmark in the background.

@daDoctahAll I can say is, I hate all those weird ring tones. Mine is a “trill,” but I have heard of an old-fashioned phone ring as well.

Not all places do that. It would also help if the car companies would offer more color choices for their cars rather than the drab browns, blacks, silvers, whites, grays, etc.

Reminds me of when I’d go to my daughter’s grade school to pick her up. The kids would be walking across the grass after class and the moron parents would be sitting in their cars, in traffic, honking their horns like their kid would somehow: A) Be paying attention B) Recognize THEIR car horn C) Care
