Har! Kind of straight-up for the editorial pages, Clay! Not that I disagree…

A picture is worth a thousand words.Dead on portrayal, just check out the latest from past Pentagon leaders, and current ones as well, on the very real threats from climate change, and these guys are not just taking about the long term, but immediate problems.

Funny how I completely agree with this comic and then eight straight comments of vitriol. The evidence is entirely against global warming, but EVEN IF it were happening, the earth has gone through ice ages and heat cycles before… it’s all utterly natural.

There are cycles, and then there are peaks. Please, keep trying to ignore the evidence. You’re doing great so far. Your children will thank you for leaving them a hot, dirty world.

Again you twist words. Man caused climate change isn’t the issue. The tremendous acceleration of climate change is what man causes.

Can I send a copy of this to my local newspaper? They think climate change is a leftwing conspiracy.

It’s not a lie. It’s a reality and has been predicted since the start of the industrial revolution. The fact that CO2 is a greenhouse gas and that putting more of it in the atmosphere has been known for a very long time (generations). The only real questions have been of degree (pun intended). And it turns out that the degree is substantial. Man made, or influenced, if that suits you better, climate change is a fact. That it’s a lie is your opinion unsupported by the facts. The only real issue is how long it takes before people realize that this is our all hands on deck moment and that nothing else matters until we get this under control. You can’t buy your way or bully your way out of the consequences. It doesn’t affect only poor people, or people “over there”. It’s everyone and it’s now. Which side are you on?

Actually, Clay, the only people with their heads up their butts are you, Al Gore, the authors of the NCA, and the Obama Administration. The rest of us are actually aware of the real science on the subject, which is FAR from settled.

It’s been long proven here that the science of a light switch is beyond the capacity of “deniers” to comprehend, so explaining climate cycles, tectonic plate movements, or physics and chemistry, is pointless.

It will be cute to see the looks on the Cons faces when the temp is 110 degrees every day and half the world is dead.

Yes, it’s totally natural that the the atmosphere gets wrecked when people pump millions of tons of CO2 into it every day.
