There are a lot of women (especially Christians) who admire this woman for standing by her man, when she knew all along that he was weak in this area.

Besides which, the man did have a sexual charisma that was like that of a rock star! I remember an instance of this that I was an actual witness to. Then president Bill Clinton came out to the machine shop at Rocketdyne to give a speech in support of our efforts (and his also) on behalf of the ISS. Of course, I wanted to have the opportunity to shake the present president’s hand myself, but I couldn’t even get near him for all of the screaming and yelling women around him from the plant. And these were generally very sensible older secretaries, engineers, and other aerospace working women!! I wonder just how all of the conservative detractors of this man (who has even been called a good Republican president on occasion for his more conservative policies) would stand up under that kind of female admiration?

The only place that I feel that he greatly failed was that Hillery Clinton was (and still is) a very lovely and beautiful lady. But, I can understand his temptations. Every human being has faced this kind of temptation at one time or another, even those of us (like myself) that have been happily married to the same wonderful mate for over 50 years! To me at least, (and I am a man) her admirability in being able to personally forgive him, and stand by him in his time of great trouble is a testament to her integrity and steadfastness. So yes, in comparison to all of the ultra conservative “characters” that seem to be the front runners for the tea party types for 2016, she will be the president if her health holds up and she wants the worlds most difficult job!!

The GOP is not only desperate and immature, but pitiful in their attempts to regain power. Benghazi, and now this? This is the best they can do?

When I first got out into the world, I was shocked at the amount of philandering that went on between males of power and the young women around them. At first it was sports players and classmates, then it was teachers and students, then it was bosses and underlings..Some were scum, but others were normal-looking, intelligent men that I never suspected by their outward demeanor they were what in previous eras were called ravishers and seducers. Whenever the temptation appeared, their blood flow went amidships and they just had to salute. They didn’t seem to care who they hurt. Some of the wives knew and put up with it, some didn’t..I suppose it’s between a husband and wife how to deal with the situation. In my conception of the-way-things-should-be, Hillary should have divorced the guy long previous to that famous incident, political careers be darned. But each of them separately are probably twice as intelligent as I am, so who am I to say? .How did they withstand the extreme humiliation of so public a scandal? I understand that such smarmy situations are the political sin par excellence in the U.S., and that as such are political meat for the feasting. And the howling around the kill was loud and expensive, I hear about $70 million dollars worth by the final tally. Not to mention the accrued disrespect to the office of the presidency..But the problem should have been resolved before the Clintons reached the White House. What supreme Olympian arrogance one must have to pursue the scent there in a little room off the Oval Office? And then to lie about it to his wife and the world. History sometimes pivots and changes directions on little things, and I often think how history would be different if “little Bill” had simply stayed behind closed drawers..Let the Clintons continue to deal with it until the end of their days. And I don’t for a second believe that Chelsea was truly shocked and angry when, during the 2008 campaign, this question came up. She must have been coached to react that way.

Stahler obviously didn’t hear Lynn Cheney saying that Vanity Fair would NEVER have published Lewinsky’s story unless Hillary had told them to.

It’s strange Democrats blame Lewinsky on the Republicans. As far as I’ve heard, Lewinsky remains a supporter of President Clinton, and a Democrat herself…

The Daily Mail is famous in the UK for being a reactionary and sensationalist paper. It’s basically a cross between Fox News and the National Enquirer. The current headline is “‘Help me, help me, sweet Jesus, help. I’m going to die’: Desperate hunt for hot air balloon that hit power lanes, burst into flames and VANISHED as burning passengers screamed out for help”
