What will the wounded lizard scout get for his troubles when a decision is handed down? A change in diet.

Eggs are all they have to serve HER. Others are served… others. I have a feeling there’s a hierarchy where some animals are more equal than others, and the others may be food for their “betters”. The payment demanded for the alleged injuries of the scout may be someone’s life as food. They’ve walked into a colony of Morlocks.Dondi may not be able to offer anything else because anything else is reserved for the higher-ups, and he may be the Dish of the Day.

Somebody needs to learn that the world doesn’t revolve around her after all… And that she has no claim of power in this place.

I suppose Sarah would not be willing to believe that Endtown survive on only beans, she would only be partially right.I hoped they were Ovoraptors, but knew deep down that could not be entirely true.

“Holly and Wally, It’s what’s for dinner!”Sarah’s impulsiveness will get our heroes into hot water…With carrots, some shallots, a little burgundy and Worcestershire and salt and pepper to taste.

    I hope I haven’t made anyone hungry

Hmm. Maybe that’s why there’s only lizards in that town. The other things they find to eat, they used to talk.

On further thought, this is quite different than Linda Kowalski’s reaction to mutant food. She was also a newly-changed mutant, although she’d had some orientation time. She had no qualms about using eggs from mutants—although she was a bit put off by the source for milk. At first, but more from the viewpoint of exploiting someone she knew. Sarah is beginning to seem like a somewhat spoiled brat.

They could be using blood as food – some tribes will bleed cattle (not to death) and mix the blood with flour or some other starchy binder. If it’s done carefully it isn’t harmful to the cattle and is or course renewable.

What has Sarah been eating for the last six or seven years?

Jim has been seeming smaller and smaller. Foreshortening? If Jim had a different shirt it would be red… Hey, remember to vote, for some reason I missed posting the links “above the fold”, and Level_Head has really been overloaded. . Vote ENDTOWN . Vote Doc Rat . Vote Hubris . Vote Kevin and Kell . Sincerely, . JusSayin

Dondi isn’t exactly the Bluebird of Happiness, is he?

Well, the old manager got fired but on the plus side, they did name a sandwich after him! He was delicious. I mean it was delicious.

Yeah, she IS new to this.

Also, it’s like Endtown all over again…kinda hoped we were done with that storyarc for awhile, but I guess it’s unavoidable at the moment.

I somehow doubt the alternative is any better than the eggs.

They are willing to eat their own eggs, and are fine with violence towards non lizards (lesser beings). Gonna guess we are in the other extreme of the mutant (Cheese Three) controversy, a place that uses all of a mutant. All of it. Except lizard that is.

    Or worse… beans.

The other question is what are they feeding the mutants who are laying the eggs. Or is this sort of like the whole mutation thing where a 110 lb woman can become either a 25 lb mouse girl or a 700lb anthro rhino? In both cases the same basic question exists: “Where did the mass go/come from?”
