Not quite sure that Putin is the same as Stalin. So far, I see no signs of Stalin’s murderous leadership. His expansionists ambitions, yes. Murder, no.
British and American Air Forces did indeed bomb German cities. Agreed! So true! They did it in retaliation for the German bombing of London, Coventry, Manchester, Hull….you understand my point, no? How about you learn a little history before opening your ignorant mouth?
Yes, but AFTER the Germans carpet-bombed Guernica, Rotterdam and London. And nobody seems to “remember” that Japan had TWO atomic bomb programs deep underway. Both the Army and Navy worked toward the bomb. It would not have the explosive power of ours; they were “dirty” bombs, designed to spread deadly radiation over the target. The targets? San Francisco, the Panama Canal zone, and Bremerton Washington. They were only awaiting a shipment of uranium from the Germans, by submarine, and then it would be only 3 weeks to complete the bombs, which were to be delivered via aircraft, transported by large submarines. Unfortunately for them, very fortunately for us, Doenitz surrendered all German armed forces in May, 1945. That sub was in mid-Atlantic at the time, and surrendered itself, with the uranium, to the U.S. submarine base in Portsmouth, NH. (the two Japanese officers on board committed suicide) We didn’t even know any about the Japanese program ’til later. Truman, and the United States, owe no apologies to anyone.
Looks like Comrade Stalin has been “rehabilitated”. Of course Putin will have his statue put in some time later this year or early next, right next to Comrade Stalin’s. That way Putin can cash in on Comrade Stalin’s popularity with the local militias.
