Hey Hey We’re the Monkees! People say we monkey around, but we’re too busy singing to put anybody down! Loved that show and song and I’m only in my thirties!
I’d rather watch the Monkees than listen to them; that was a great show! Except for Helen, every other artist mentioned is in my CD wallet or cassette case; great taste there, folks!
As I can personally attest, it is indeed possible to like both Janis Joplin and George Jones. I’d like to think that if she had lived longer, they would have recorded a duet.
Janis, George the Monkees… all good. So is Mozart, Bach, Chopin. Manhattan Transfer, Oakridge Boys, Dixie Chicks, Alan Jackson. George Strait. Cher (even if she does sing flat). Dion. Julie Andrews..right now I have Hedley, The Tenors, Ozzie Osborne, KISS and Neil Diamond on my ipod. .

Wow: I haven’t listened to Janis in a very long time. Could be a Joplin Marathon at the office today.
