Yes indeed, let’s bomb Moscow, because folks in Ukraine can trace their history to Russia, with Russian speaking populations, as opposed to OUR “repatriation” of those folks in Nicaragua, Panama, Grenada, Viet Nam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, and of course let’s go for Iran as well, all of whom have such close ties and affinity for the U.S.!!

“Although your satire comes through well, generally speaking, the Ukrainian situation is one that is not all that much open to being satirized.”Everything is open to satire & if no one says, “too soon”, it’s probably not very good satire.“The United States doesn’t have “a dog in that hunt”. Period. Full Stop. End. And, the United States should NEVER seek to put “a dog into that hunt”, now, or any time in the future.”The US doesn’t have a mortal threat to its security, but Europeans do. We have real alliances with some countries that are very close to Russia. A destabilized Europe, lurching toward armed confrontations is in nobody’s interest in the long term, not even Russia’s.

“This is a perfect example. The President was stating that he could not make big moves or make any promises as it was election season at the time. The GOTP has misrepresented that statement over and over and over again.”Well, let’s look at the exchange. You can tell me if I’m repeating it incorrectly.President Obama: On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it’s important for him to give me space.President Medvedev: Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you…President Obama: This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.President Medvedev: I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir.Arial thinks Obama was being naive about Putin. If so, it’s an obvious case of Obama telling our allies, If you like your missile defense, you can keep it”. Otherwise, Obama was selling false promises to the Russians in order to keep Putin quiet during the elections.Of course, the only thing really unusual was that the exchange was witnessed by the press. I won’t pick on Obama for slipping up, he’s certainly not the first leader to make that mistake. If anyone has a link to Obama himself explaining that in light of current events, I’d love to hear it. But, you really can’t have it both ways in absolving Obama.

I was watching faux news the other day and suddenly realized that 0bama should have brought the full brunt of our precious nucular bomb power down on that punk Putin. That would show the whole world what ’merican supremacy is all about. Then we can move on to Syria, N Korea, Talibanistan and all the other stans as well.
