Reid, just like a Progressive liberal: one that espouses the Brotherhood of man (as best suited to the edification of his neighbors) insofar as said Brotherhood doesn’t join his countryclub.

Well my cable has been our for 14 days – I won’t bore you with the details of the fun of calling a 1-888 number for help, except to say that it is even less fun then a full-body scan –so this is the first time I have been able to post in a forthnight, so I am glad there is only one post so that I can go off on in a different direction.

As a Liberial I would suggest that any Liberial looking at this cartoon sit down, take a deep breath and accept the fact that we have reached the high point for any Liberial legislations, change, or action. It will probably be another ten years before we reach such a high point again.

The reason that we were even able to get to this point is that the Republicans made the mistake of letting someone so incompetent become President that they and their party (along with the rest of us) were almost destroyed. The only reason so many Liberials were able to get elected is that Americans were so tired of Bush, his stupid wars, and the way he let the economy crash, that they voted against the Republicans.

The Republicans, unlike the Democrats, learn from their mistakes and will never again let that happen.

But the Republicans also learned that they really could control things, and kill change, by not only saying “NO!”, and using ever effort block Obama and the Democrats.

They also learned that by attacking every thing that the Democrats do, they can not only create the impression that the Democrats have failed, but that everything they do is controversial.

This allows the Republicans to use a simple thing like Reid’s comment to take attention away from other, far more, important subjects, and waste everyones time. The Democrats, who seem to never learn, let them get away with this.

There is no reason for the Republicans to change, and you can’t blame them since these tatics are so easy and work so well, so between now and the Fall elections any reform will come to a halt as Democrats drop everything to run for re-elections.

The Republicans will gain in the Fall electons, and will be in a even better positions to block change, and reform and change will come to an end.

Ken, were you addressing the cartoon in fact or your own bias?

Ken- You wrote “Liberial” numerous times, so it can’t be a typo. What is a Liberial–someone from Liberia? Did you mean “Liberal”?
