It’s been hysterical to watch the Fox News commentators, after accusing Obama and Eric Holder for months of not enforcing laws aimed at illegal immigrants, insisting that he should NEVER enforce laws broken by an armed white rancher. Now, let’s see. What’s the difference between an immigrant and a white rancher… I can’t quite put my finger on it…

Timothy Egan has a great piece on this in the New York Times today. “After all, wasn’t the Tea Party born in a rant by Rick Santelli of CNBC about deadbeat homeowners? He complained about taxpayers’ subsidizing “losers’ mortgages” and he said we should “reward people that can carry the water instead of drinking the water.” Believe me, Bundy’s cattle are drinking an awful lot of our water, and not paying for it.”

I think the government is trying not to kill a bunch of people in the process. I researched the background on this. Cliven Bundy does not own the land and in fact paid the fees for many years. I guess he decided it was more profitable not to pay. It has been through the courts and they have decided he must pay. It is just a matter of enforcement. I don’t know why anybody feels sorry for him, he has a thousand head of cattle and is clearly a multi-millionaire. He is saving a bundle and getting a bunch of tea party type mopes to do his dirty work. Maybe he will end up getting them killed by why should he care, he is making money.

    - “139 cattle missing” – whose word, Bundy’s? That’s credible.- “$175,000 is enough to pay grazing fees for over 100 years” Check your math – not even close.- “Damage to water tanks” – Blame it on BLM, but more likely lack of ranch maintenance.- There is no deal between Harry Reid and the Chinese..Don’t just make it up. See 1opinion re. ignorance.

“Harry Reid is wanting to help put a Chinese mega corperation (sic) in charge of the land.”

Since 1993, right? That’s when he stopped paying his grazing fees and decided he should get a free ride.First, Bundy doesn’t own the land. Regardless how many times he mentions state sovereignty over federal rights, it ain’t his.Second, he is breaking the law. He twice had his day in court. and lost. Now he’s calling on his armed delusional buddies to intimidate the law.

Go to SNOPES and you’ll find the Reid connection is totally debunked as a lie.

Bundy is a thief and liar, defrauding the TAXPAYERS.

BTW: most of Nevada is PUBLIC DOMAIN, not just “public land”, which means it NEVER LEFT FEDERAL OWNERSHIP, as it was never accepted by the state of Nevada.

“TEA party”, “sovereigns”, “sagebrush rebels”, all making fraudulent charges, backed by sources as criminally (slander and libel) as Fox News, and the Koch brothers various operations. While a few in the TEA party do have some valid points, the accumulated majority of them are just like the “sovereigns” and “sagebrush rebels”, totally nuts, and more than welcome to move to Somalia if they want some desert land and the “government” they desire.

Also btw, the only folks at the “confrontation” with rifles and body armor were the Bundy backers, which IS sedition and treason, as in taking up arms against the government.

“Funny how the govt. backed doen the moment the “Reid connectyion” was brought to light.”

As was suggested above, check with snopes.com

“Funny too how Al Sharpton’s NAN group owes $2 million in back taxes.”

Not funny. If true, the taxes should be paid or those in charge should be brought up on tax evasion charges. However, as has oft been said: two wrongs do not make a right.

Had that happened, it would not be a newsworthy item.
