I agree. But, although pols getting money from business has been going on since the First Continental Congress, today, it has gotten totally out of control. I do not think there is one senator or rep who would dare vote against the orders of his/her financial sponsor.
The decision doesn’t affect how much you can contribute to an individual candidate, only the aggregate amount, so the factual premise of the cartoon is false.
