Following your argument, Southern California and Texas and much of the Southwest should be turned over to Mexico. After all, it is separated by a bridge and used to be Mexico. And Mexico’s economy would be stronger. As to biting off more than he can chew, I think he will be back for a larger bite.

Teddy’s advice was more appropriate back when everyone just had sticks (and rifles). Now they have nuclear missles. Have to be more thoughtful.

Ths cartoon, of course, is the opposite of the truth, of course. It’s McCain and Graham who are saying Obama isn’t yelling enough, and should be drawing red lines (like they criticized him for doing in Syria). Obama’s doing fine so far, and Putin is starting to get a big backlash from his business cronies, but these things take time.

Careful there now, I had my last comment against DisgustedTaxpayer/DisgistedAmerican deleted because I thought she was rapturing a tad too joyously wth this latest crisis…

By the by, I believe the satire bone is located within the inner ear. You might need to have it checked if you thought Michael and I were…oh, nevermind, carry on, it’s more entertaining this way.

Really, so what do you care about the Crimea? .“Anyone else getting tired of the attitude that if we act like the biggest, baddest butt-kicker in the world, everybody else will do just what we want them to do?”.I’m with Martens. The USA doesn’t need to be the biggest, baddest bully on the block.

Besides, it’s too expensive. History proves that.
