Calvin…every girl Knows it is Boys who produce cooties…I have this running funny “conversation” with my hub who Insists Girls are cootie manufacturing centers, But, we Know boys are!!! Heheheh… ;)

Haven’t thought of that game in years. Used to love playing it.

Had that done to me. Cracked a tooth and the x-rays found an extra tooth growing the wrong direction. Required surgery, but gave me this story.

Happened to me, called a cherry bomb, quite painful but got the boys the response they wanted which was to be chased by girls.

I think my older brother made off with the one we had as kids.The version today is nauseatingly cute with fewer small parts to lose/inhale.

Girl cooties, OH NO!

When (some of us) were young, we had Cooties, and Fright Factory to play with, and The Addams Family on TV.Today, even the ghouls are cute (Monster High figurines for Easter? Think about it), and Twilight.(Stereotypical “old person’s voice”) In MY day, creatures were only cute so they could fool you and EAT you!

Anybody else getting tired of the popup ads that push the comic to the right just as you are reading it?

Hey, I actually called it yesterday, sort of. All the boys are doing something else today.

There are rules for cooties. It’s a well-known fact that you can’t catch cooties from sisters or other female relatives. Friends’ sisters also do not count, depending on how well you know them.

When I was Calvin’s age, I didn’t react to girls the way he does. I just sort of ignored them. They were of no interest to me one way or the other. That changed about a decade later.

We used to play the “economy” version of Cootie. We drew our bugs on paper — sort of like Hangman with dice.

Politics, by definition, don’t make sense.
