Uh-oh! “Houston, we have a problem.” Already, Mr. Kolossal is in deep trouble with Mr. Angus.

“This group did far more investigation into the original Moon Maid’s disappearance than MCU ever did.”Darn tootin’! There were tons of great posts during the Mysta story last year. Endless discussions and pictures and speculations and history lessons about the fair maid, and I enjoyed them all. There was genuine excitement among the fans, you could just feel it. A sense that Dick Tracy was not only back from oblivion but was back with a vengeance. The well deserved Harvey Award confirmed it! Alas, it turned out Mysta was not who we were hoping her to be. I was upset at first, but it’s funny because I’m now more intrigued about her than ever. With changes continuing and moon people lurking and the relationship with Honeymoon starting to flower, she’s a very interesting character. Somebody posted about this the other day and it’s true. She’s sympathetic and beautiful and mysterious and will continue to fascinate and keep us on the edge of our seats for a long time to come. All the excitement she stirred up in that little visit to her apartment a few weeks ago proves she continues to have serious star power!Moon Maid is the most exciting character Gould ever created. And with Staton doing the art and Curtis keeping us mysta-fied, she’s even more exciting now. I can’t wait for her next appearance.

Uh-oh. Missed a “payment”? Now we know why Mr. Kolossal’s eyes are blank: there’s nothing behind them! Dumb bunny may be taking the Long Sleep sooner than he wants if he can’t appease Mr. Angus. Angus could probably snap him like a matchstick.

So Mr. Angus is less of an “angel” than a loan shark.

It’s Brilliant the way that Mike & Joe have brought Mysta Moon Maid back to life…and breathed New Life into the whole Dick Tracy rogues gallery with crossovers with all these funny page characters of old..Kudos team…Stay Strong…

And Day-Day2001: JPuzzleWhiz said, “The OMM isn’t/wasn’t an Earthling, so our Earthly standards for determining death may not be applicable.”.To which, I add: "Applicable – nor acceptable!

“But I still stand by my original theory as to how the Original Moon Maid may have survived the car bombing (teleportation), until and unless a body is produced. The OMM isn’t/wasn’t an Earthling, so our Earthly standards for determining death may not be applicable.”-————————————————————-I like how you’re hanging onto that idea. Last year I was so hooked on getting back the original Moon Maid that I wouldn’t allow for any other idea. So it was very disappointing to me when she turned out to be a chimera. I’ve made peace with that now and am grateful Mike and Joe found a way to bring back this fantastic character. I actually am loving the new Mysta now because of the changes she’s experiencing and Staton’s fantastic art. Mysta Chimera rocks! I can’t see how the real Mysta could be brought back now, and I don’t want to be disappointed again, so I’m not hanging onto that hope. But hey who would have thought she’d be back at all? Having two Mystas would be twice the fun! But I feel sure we’re only going to get the one we have, though I can’t deny a piece of me hopes you’re right!

The ‘problem’ is the people responsible for getting the money for Mr. Angus have disappeared. Probably, oh, I don’t know, at the bottom of a lake somewhere?

So, Kolossal isn’t a crook, per se, just a klutz?

“Could she be slowly turning into a biological duplicate of the original Mysta if some of those cells are from her? Now to me that would make for an interesting story thread.”Yes. Absolutely. Those cells were taken from the wreckage of the car. Ghote: “Mysta is living proof my cloning process works! I was amazed, considering how little I had to work with” (4/28/13). Our Changeling Mysta is indeed fascinating. As Day-Day2001 remarks, “With changes continuing and moon people lurking and the relationship with Honeymoon starting to flower, she’s a very interesting character.” She is a compelling character, which is a big part of what makes her story—and Staton/Curtis’ Tracyville—so captivating. As I said on 3/22:.Lunar DNA shall have its way, yet who could have foretoldTransformations to inspire awe: Mysta powerful and bold..Looks like Angus caught Kolossal on the set of The Moon Maid. I like the lunar terrain in panel two.

My question is, what is Mr. Angus’ money coming from? Clearly nothing legal, but is it connected with any of the bad guys we know are out there, such as the Blackhearts.-——————Speaking of bad guys we know are out there:When last we saw Sprocket, she appeared to be hunkering down to wait — had she used a cel phone (or otherwise signalled) for help? And if she did, what short of the Space Coupe could have rescued her?

@cheapskate0RE: Nine Chick has me lost !I’m going through the motions….....I know what you mean. When this arc is over, I’m going back to re-read the whole story-line thing. I know I missed something somewhere.

harking back to the previous story, yeah……since the car’s windows are shatterproof the car itself may be waterproof, leaving enough time for a rescue……once again loose ends not tied up, as with Abner the previous story, and Ghote & Sail the story before, and……guess this leaves the window for a return by all should Mike and Joe desire. Also like the growing trend to picture our “good guys” as possibly just the opposite if those villians indeed did die…..Diet letting them starve in space, Dick not pulling Abner out of the concrete and misleading the rescuers about the chances of saving Sprocket….
