Eddie: The first time I ever met Lee Salem was through a personal note he sent me... Salem: Dear Lalo, Please cease and desist drawing parody "Calvin and Hobbes" comics featuring Calvin as a troubled young cholo. Thanks! Lee Salem Comics Editor Eddie: It was the nicest legal threat I have ever received. Thanks to Lee for all the years of life changing support he has given me and my work! Lee salem has helped alter the comics landscape forever! Salem: Nice to see you finally using a fon, but did you have to use my tribute as a Sunday comic just because you are soooo late?
