@Strod Yeah, it’s Alice. Also keep in mind that Gordie is the boyfriend of Nate’s sister. He can’t be THAT old. Nate’s only 11!

I worked in a mom and pop grocery when I was 16. The owner often left me in charge for hours at a time while he was next door playing dominoes in the pool hall.
