I’m impressed, Arizona is really gunning for most stupid.I’m reading an email response to this that’s doing the rounds amongst my American mates but I cannot find a reliable source.I’m therefore hesitant to mention or quote from this Rabbi’s open letter to the governor of Arizona. The Rabbi in question is in fact a rabbi in Arizona, but I cannot locate anything further that corroborates the email’s author is in fact this rabbi.

    …but it’s a great response, if true.

Arizona has nothing on California for stupid. The Progressive Left is pretty much unbeatable for doing stupid.

Arizona has a history of lunatic fringe legislation. Their legislators make the Jim Crow south look reasonable.

Enoki, Arizona is much, much stupider than California — at least, it’s state representatives and senators are. You really think business and convention boycotts are that much better than a balanced budget?

Every time I hear of another idiocy coming from Arizona, I reflect on the huge influx of Michigan plates that was occurring when we lived there, and was part of the reason we left. California also had nutty New Yorkers (not Steinbeck’s folks) coming to that state and screwing things up.

The west, and sunbelt, have been socially polluted not by the natives, or the southern “invaders” more closely related to those natives, but by the invaders from the east, and upper midwest…

It’s become a pissing contest between which state has the most stupid legislation?Ye gawds.

Pertinent to this cartoon is:Arizona.andThis law.My interest? I lived in a country with discriminatory laws which affected everyone. I thought we had moved on from this type of state sanctioned bigotry.

This whole thing is having such a huge impact ….Hundreds are protesting it at the Captiol today… Thousands of dollars are going to the Democrats….The whole response against this bill has been completely underwhelming…

Here’s a list of things that don’t count as discrimination. 1. Other people doing something that is against your religion. 2. Other people doing something that you don’t like. 3. Someone calling you a bigot, when you discriminate against them. 4. Someone disagreeing with your opinion. 5. Other people refusing to let you hurt them. (physically, mentally or emotionally.) 6. Other people being granted the same rights that you have.

That flag is missing the word “hypocrisy”. No Christian that reads and UNDERSTANDS the bible would support that legislation.

“Arizona has nothing on California for stupid. The Progressive Left is pretty much unbeatable for doing stupid.”#I don’t know. The Regressive Right is also doing its bit on the stupid front. Ted Cruz and John Boehner come to mind as the Apostles of Stupid. Who in their “right” mind would think that causing a multi-billion dollar loss to the U.S. economy by allowing a government shutdown is a “good” idea?
